Julie DePew (she/her) is a creative dynamo with nearly 30 years of know-how in the ever-shifting landscape of location-based themed entertainment. A seasoned wordsmith, collaborator, storykeeper, and torchbearer for world-class brands, Julie works closely with multidisciplinary project teams to help bring fresh experiences based on new and beloved intellectual properties to life, guiding them from concept to opening day and beyond.

Julie leads with inclusivity and kindness, and she is a firm believer in centering the guest experience at every turn — helping to make lasting memories as visitors from all walks of life engage with the stories that unfold around them.

Highlights of Julie’s work include creative direction of the performer-driven walkthrough experience “Star Trek: Red Alert” at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Fan Fest Nights event; “SpongeBob’s Crazy Carnival Ride” at Circus Circus Las Vegas; “Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey” at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi; and innovative branded experiences at Hershey’s Chocolate World in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

As friends and colleagues can attest, Julie is also a joybringer, a certified all-around geek, and possibly a unicorn. (Unconfirmed.) When she is not immersed in her latest projects, Julie loves visiting theme parks, keeping up with the zeitgeist of the entertainment world, and playing a wide range of tabletop games.
